Title: On The Road Again: Driving after an upper limb injury
Abstract: Driving requires upper limb strength, flexibility and command of steering and other driving controls. But what if our client’s injury is degrading these physical traits to the point where driving is intolerable or hazardous? This presentation explores driving adaptations to enable safe and comfortable driving with a range of upper limb impairments. Participants will also understand the positive role they can play in their clients’ return to the valuable occupation of driving
